The photographer as a storyteller. A photo by Erwin always tells a poetic story, often referring to societal or contemporary circumstances. The inclusion of small imperfections keeps the content honest and interesting. There might be an imprint on the sofa, a dirty fingernail or a wrinkle in a blouse - such details are not a matter of chance. We visited his studio in Amsterdam for The Workshop.
