She is an artist who lives in the midst of her work. When Ans is at work, no one is in the room. To her, painting is a solo journey. Sometimes she paints for days in a row, classical music or a discussion-program playing in the background. She keeps her telephone nearby, but while she is painting, she keeps the outer world at bay.
We visited Ans for The Workshop and had a croissant and coffee.
